Faith, Folk & Fairtrade
|
|
2nd February 2005 - The inaugural Fairtrade Acoustic Cafe @ Stocksfield got off to a good start on Friday 21st January. At the event - which seeks to raise awareness of Fairtrade and raise money for Uhuru Ministries - Gareth shared the bill with local Tynedale singer-songwriter Pete Ryder. A good review of the evening was printed in the Hexham Courant. The event was so successful that we are looking at plans to take it on the road later this year. Meanwhile the next Acoustic Cafe @ Stocksfield is on Friday May 6th and features Rob Halligan, a singer-songwriter from Coventry. Hope to see you there. |
